Life in Richmond
I have lived in Richmond VA for 9 months. I moved here from Alexandria (northern va) and I am very surprised at how friendly people are here. People ask you how you are doing and you can tell they actually want to know. It has taken some getting used to, but it's a very nice thing to get used to. I just wanted to let anybody know how nice it is in case they were thinking of moving here. The housing market is much more reasonable here as well. It seems to be growing, but isn't everything? Rush hour here is very small. It's a walk in the park compared to NOVA. This is just a much better standard of living. I am hoping to spend the rest of my life here!
