Which cell phones have the best reception? This is something I have spent a lot of time researching and I haven't seen this type of information posted anywhere else, so I hope this is helpful. Your cell phone reception is not based entirely on the network provider. Some companies are known to produce phones with better reception than others. People in the business know this, but they will never talk about it unless you specifically ask them. I found out the hard way, but you don't have to. Apparently the very best reception comes from Nokia. I know from personal experience that my Sony Erickson is just as good. I have AT&T and my LG phone had such bad reception that I canceled my service because I thought it was the network. Then a buddy of mine came over with his Sony phone with AT&T and it worked brilliantly. So I started to call around and according to the people who know, the cell phones that get the best reception are Nokia and Motorolla. The cell phones with the worst reception are LG and Blackberry. I hope this helps anybody making a decision on which phone to buy. At least ask about the reception before you buy because it can make a huge difference.
